I'm a writer of a blog read by heretic pastors, lesbians and my friend Jeff.
I've always been interested in a life in the pursuit of philosophy, theology and / or writing the great American novel. But cursed with a chronic affliction of laziness, I'm writing this blog instead.
Having lived in both New York and Cape Town I consider both cities home. I'm also a husband and a new father.
The inspiration for this blog is the strong suspicion that you can learn more about life from listening to Springsteen's "Nebraska" album than you can from a degree in philosophy and that you might just learn more about spirituality by watching Season 6 of The Sopranos than by sitting in most pews.
If you take your Soren Kierkegaard with a dash of Homer Simpson or your Lao Tzu with a bit of Bob Dylan I hope you'll find something here worth reading and worth sharing.
If you like the blog, please "like" my Facebook page button (top right corner). I don't get paid for blogging, but in the absence of a paycheck getting a few likes on Facebook makes me feel like somebody is reading this thing.

"At times I think there are no words
But these to tell what’s true:
There are no truths outside the Gates of Eden"~ Bob Dylan
